Preparing your poster

The information below is intended to serve as a reminder to the experienced presenter and as a primer to those less experienced, suggesting ways to make your poster presentation more effective for viewers.

  • Please include the following on your poster:
    • The title as it appeared on the submitted abstract
    • All authors’ names and organisations
    • An email address, contact information or QR code that can be made available to those who may wish to discuss your display with you further
  • Where possible, use tables, graphs, diagrams and dot points to illustrate points. Avoid using too much text, and keep the font large
  • Use light backgrounds to make the poster easier to read
  • Ensure you keep the content within the size guidelines provided above. Posters that are larger may be unable to be displayed

Refer to the Poster board and materials tab for the dimensions your poster should be prepared to.

Digital poster

In addition to your printed poster, delegates will also have the opportunity to view a digital version of your poster in the Congress app and virtual platform. This can be submitted for display in the Conference app via your Presenter Portal or return email by 5pm AEDT on Friday 24 April 2026. The file should be in portrait orientation and submitted as a PDF document no larger than 5MB (5,000kb) in size.
