Session format

Please be in your session room 20 minutes before the scheduled start time of your session. Your presentation, which you will have submitted in the speaker preparation room, will have already been forwarded to your session room.

On arrival at the session room, introduce yourself to your Session Chair who will brief you on any last minute details.

Please then take your seat at the head table on the stage or in the front row of the session room.

The Session Chair will introduce the presenter/s in the order in which they appear in the program, by name and organisation only. Full biographies can be viewed in the Congress app (once available).

Throughout the presentation the Session Chair will assist with indicating the time remaining. To ensure the smooth running of the Congress and ensure all presenters are given their allocated time, it is imperative that you keep to your allocated session time.

Audience Q&A

The audience will be able to submit questions throughout your presentation via the Congress app. These questions will be moderated throughout the session by the Session Chair who will then – time permitting – relay selected questions to you at the end of your presentation. Any question and answer time is to be included in the overall presentation time advised in the email sent to you by the Congress Office.
